Eco Tourism
MHM Holdings Inc. has a stake in RUPUNUNI AGRICULTURE INTREGRATED DEVELOPMENT, INC. and is assisting in the development of an eco-tourism lodge in the Rupinini.
Twenty cabins (cabana type) will be built to modern standards, air conditioned with hot and cold running water, well-appointed with all conveniences including television, telephone, and internet access. Each cabin will cater to double occupancy with one bedroom and a full bath.
A central hospitality facility with halls, dining areas and verandahs, kitchens and storerooms, as well as a swimming pool with extensive patios will form the main social gathering area.
Staff accommodation in a twenty-room building with the appropriate amenities, full baths, and locker rooms will be provided.
Sheds and garages, storage bonds, animal stables, and fuel facilities will also be provided. In addition, extensive roadways, paths, and substantial landscaping will need to be provided. Electrical power will be a hybrid combination of solar, wind, and diesel generation.
Commercial
MHM Holdings Inc. has acquired all of the shares of Marana Investments, Inc., a private firm that owns a prime vacant lot near downtown Georgetown. Work is currently underway to finalize plans for a four-story office building and parking. Negotiations are underway with rental agreements for Green Gibraltar, new telecommunication company operating in Guyana.
